The Sound Of Music is without a doubt my favorite movie of all time. Having watched the movie hundreds of times, buying the soundtrack and watching the play on broadway...I have grown to love it even more. My lifelong dream has always been to meet Julie Andrews (who plays Maria in the movie). I used to fantasize that Julie Andrews would one day be my mother. The songs in the movie, the cinematography and the storyline are just some of the reasons to love this movie. It makes me so happy to know that my children also have a love for this movie, just as I do. One day I hope to actually visit Austria so that I may sing on the hills just as Julie Andrews did.
The hills are alive with the sound of music...................
i love that movie. it's so cute. i'd love to meet julie andrews too. she needs to be our grandmother or something lol
